Rob McKnight x Euphoria Market

Rob McKnight for Camilo Andres

Robert Browning, aka Rob McKnight, product designer, creative director, stylist, event organizer, and co-founder of Drifters MD, is a creative whose work transcends any one discipline. From cut-and-sew garments and nostalgic reworks to street markets and visual storytelling, Rob’s versatility is rooted in something deeply personal: a relentless pursuit of making beauty out of broken things.

His early years were marked by hardship. “I stole my first pair of Jordans out of a locker,” Rob recalls. “That’s where customizing started, Sharpie’ing my Air Forces to make them feel like something else.” It wasn’t about fashion but survival, self-expression, and making something out of nothing. That same mindset still drives his creative process today. Every garment Rob touches carries a sense of resilience, a testament to where he’s been and where he’s going.

Through Drifters MD, a secondhand-focused brand he runs with partner Gio Paredes, Rob breathes new life into old pieces. “It’s giving old, tattered, broken things new life,” he says. “And I think I do it in a way that makes new life look cool.” His design work, military fabrics, worn textures, and Americana silhouettes feel lived-in but forward-thinking. His process is raw and as intentional as it gets. “I shouldn’t be here,” he says, referencing the trauma and abuse he endured growing up. “But I am. So I have to do something with that.”

For Rob, creativity is a form of healing. Whether through clothing, visuals, or his street market gallery, everything ties back to community and humanity. “The long-term goal? Build infrastructure in the countries my family is from. Do more for people who live and lived a life like mine.”

But he knows he can’t get there without taking the leap, and that’s his advice to other creatives: “Don’t overthink. Just do. Life rewards people who do, not people who sit in analysis paralysis.”

Rob McKnight isn’t chasing aesthetics. He’s chasing impact and making the world feel more whole with every stitch.
