From $50 to a Six-Room Studio: Victoria Naderi and Lashes to Lavish

What started as a $50 eyelash kit and a difficult week in college has become a six-room beauty suite and booming product line for Sterling, Virginia–based lash tech Victoria Naderi. The founder of Lashes to Lavish has built her six-figure business from the ground up, with grit, patience, and an unwavering commitment to transparency.

Seven years ago, Victoria began doing lashes in the same bed she slept in at her mom’s apartment. From traveling to appointments during the pandemic to moving into her first office, her story is one of confidence and hustle. Believing in herself became a vital pillar in her growth, allowing her to push through self-doubt and the learning curves that came with being self-taught.

She now serves over 120 clients a month, mentors aspiring lash artists, and runs her own product line. Her TikTok presence has been instrumental to that growth. She’s hit 10.5 million views on a single video and built a global customer base, with orders coming in from Australia, Germany, and the U.K.

But visibility hasn’t come without risk. Last December [2024], someone broke into her studio, just minutes after she stepped out. “He stole over $10,000 worth of things,” Victoria recalls. “For a while, I didn’t want to show my face on social media. I felt violated.” The incident shook her sense of safety, but not her resolve. “I kept telling myself: I’ll always have my business, but you’ll always be a thief.”

Victoria’s success isn’t about followers or flashy aesthetics, it’s about making people feel seen. From creating cozy, inviting spaces to packaging her lash kits with QR codes and affirmations, she leads with intention. “People remember how you make them feel. That’s why they come back.”

Now, she’s expanding. Victoria plans to launch a podcast for young women, design apparel for lash artists, and take her services on the road, from New York to Mexico. Through it all, she hopes to empower others to find self-worth beyond external validation. “There were years I hated myself,” she says. “Now, I want to remind people, especially young women, that they’re more than enough.”

Victoria built Lashes to Lavish brick by brick, mistake by mistake, and post by post. And as she tells her students: “You don’t have to know everything to start, you just have to start.”
